Level Up Lead Provider Collaborative Commissioning Team are working with young people to launch this exciting platform.
The platform is dedicated to sharing the voices and experiences of young people who have accessed specialised mental health services across Cheshire and Merseyside. Here, you will find updates on our current projects, events, and initiatives aimed at empowering young people to influence and shape specialised mental health services.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive space where everyone can share their experience, insights, and ideas. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the way mental health services are designed and delivered.
We encourage you to engage with our posts, share your thoughts, and contribute your own experiences. Your voice matters, and together, we can create positive change.
Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Level Up: Supporting Our Health and Well-being Through Creativity 🌟
At Level Up, we've been having some amazing discussions about how we can take better care of our mental health and well-being. What we've realised is that looking after our mental health is a journey, and sometimes it's the small, creative steps that can make the biggest difference.
One of the ways we've worked on this is by focusing on our future goals. We used Next Step cards, which helped us break down our goals into manageable, achievable steps. It was so empowering to see that by taking small actions, we can make our future goals feel more achievable and less overwhelming.
In addition to goal setting, we discovered how creativity can boost our mood. I had the chance to spend an afternoon at Ancora House and Ancora Community School during a well-being session, where we created beautiful collage butterflies. Each butterfly was unique, full of colour, and represented our personal journeys. These butterflies will be on display in the Ancora School Garden, adding a vibrant touch to the outdoor space!
Creating these butterflies reminded us of how important it is to slow down, be present, and express ourselves creatively. Spending time outdoors and doing creative projects not only nurtures our mental health, but also gives us a break from the stress and pressures of daily life.
We’d love to know—what are some of your favourite ways to support your mental health? Drop us a comment and share your ideas! 😊
